NetOp Remote Control - Benefits
Operate remote systems anywhere!
Industry Leading Security
NetOp offers the most comprehensive security on the market. Besides traditional local security features such as password protection, individual or group roles, user notification, automatic call-back, and the highest levels of encryption -- NetOp provides advanced centralized management through support for Windows Security Management (including Active Directory and LDAP) as well as the unique NetOp Security Server. NetOp's Security Server provides centralized security, administration, logging, authentication and authorization for all your NetOp users.
Remote Management Console
New to version 9.0, NetOp now offers a powerful remote management console for simplistic troubleshooting. The NetOp Remote Management Console enables Guest users to perform day-to-day maintenance on a Windows Host(s) without remote controlling the Host's desktop or interrupting the Host user. Check the Windows Event log, ensure you have enough available disk space with the Disk Drives option, restart Services and run command files directly from the Remote Management Console all without interfering with Host users' daily responsibilities.
Cross-Platform - Cross-Protocol Support
NetOp supports an array of operating systems, including Windows XP (SP1 and SP2), Windows Server 2003, Windows 2000 (including 2000 Pro, 2000 Server & 2000 Advanced Server), Windows NT 4.0, Windows ME, 98, 95, Terminal Services, 16 bit Windows 3.1x, Mac OS X, OS/2 4.x / 3.x / 2.x / 1.3 DOS, Windows CE 4.X/3.X / 2.11devices, Linux (Red Hat, SuSe and Fedora), Symbain (ie. Nokia Communicator) and Internet Explorer 4.0 and higher browsers via a ActiveX plug-in Guest.
"Faster by Far"
According to independent industry tests, NetOp Remote Control is the fastest remote control application on the market. This means you can rely on enhanced connection speeds over LANs, WANs, your VPN, and even slower Internet, Modem dial-up, Wireless or Infrared connections.
Multiple Connectivity Options
NetOp supports Internet-based communication systems, granting global connectivity. Securely control PCs from home, on the road or even from an Internet connected PC in a mall or at a client site via a small ActiveX download plug-in - or launch your fully-configured NetOp Guest from a USB Flash Drive.
